Command: SS (Save Settings). The HSM must be in the Secure Authorised state.
Function: To save the alarm, host port and security settings to a Smartcard.
Inputs: None.
Outputs: Confirmation messages that Alarm, Host and Security settings are saved.
Errors: Card not formatted to save/retrieve HSM
settings.
Attempt with another card? [Y/N]: card is formatted for LMK storage or
is a licence card.
Card not formatted. Attempt with another card? [Y/N]: card is not formatted
Command only allowed from secure-authorised – the HSM is not in secure state, is not in authorised state, or both.
